A speeding lemon?!
A lurching egg?!
A banana on wheels?!
No: it's the Jakomobile, the company vehicle of the Bunte Jakob Studio.
Behind the weel is Jasmina from Lenau primary school and the boys from her class seem to be proud of her.
The Bunte Jakob Studio invites children, teenagers, and adults to immerse themselves in the sensual world of art. Experimenting with colours, shapes, and miscellaneous forms, they will have the chance to understand this world and become a part of it.
Here at the Bunte Jakob Studio, it is possible to explore selected works of the Berlinische Galerie while working in small groups, as well as to peek behind the scenes at the museum. In courses offered during holidays, weekends, and throughout the year, students work with professional artists; they learn how to make paintings, drawings, and three-dimensional works, and gain familiarity with collage and printing techniques. In addition, it is possible to celebrate your birthday at the Bunte Jakob Studio, or to have the studio come to a nursery, or elementary school class, or an after-school group.
