Monica Bonvicini (*1965) studied at Berlin’s University of the Arts from 1986. Since then, apart from periods in Los Angeles, London and Pasadena, she has lived in the German capital. Over the years, the highly acclaimed artist has developed a pithy visual idiom and a multi-media approach. Her works have already been shown at many international venues. At her first solo exhibition for an institution in Berlin, the Berlinische Galerie acknowledges the artist’s special significance for our city.
We are pleased to invite you and your friends to the opening of the exhibition during Berlin Art Week 2017 on September 12.
The exhibition and catalogue have been facilitated by the Capital Cultural Fund.
